Photo of the day: the Maloo, a more glorious moment in Australian history
Upset about Australia's capitulation in the cricket? A V8-powered pickup hero should soothe some pain
Some cricket has happened today. If you’re British, the cricketing has been glorious. If you’re Australian… well, it hasn’t. Sorry.
But solace, dear Antipodean chums, comes in the form of the mighty Maloo. The V8-powered ‘ute remains an Aussie hero, with plenty of room in the back for your cricket balls and hitting sticks, and a mildly obscene 425bhp to haul them around with.
Importantly, though, it will hit 60mph in 4.9 seconds. That's even quicker than a typical innings from the Australian cricket team. Just, mind.
