This new V12 Roadster is Eccentrica’s open-air £1m+ Diablo restomod

Of course there’d be a Roadster. And of course it’d look sweet

Published: 11 Aug 2026

This is called, quite simply, the ‘V12 Roadster’, largely because a) it has a V12, and b) it’s very much a roadster. It’s been built by a company called Eccentrica, which specialises in restoring and updating Lamborghini’s Nineties leviathan into something worth over a million quid.

We do not yet know how much this’ll go for, but ‘a lot’ is probably a good guess. And you get a lot of car thrown in for that amount – a lot of good car, if the Eccentrica V12 coupe is any sort of benchmark. Indeed, “it’s better in every direction”, we said of the hard top.

Eccentrica’s keeping some of its powder dry ahead of a full reveal in California later this week, so for now has confirmed only that the V12 Roadster wears a steel and carbon fibre body, features redesigned suspension geometry, and bespoke semi-active dampers. Just like the coupe, then.

Inside the V12 Roadster is treated to plentiful leather, Alcantara, a bit more carbon fibre (though exposed) and even a few anodized finishes, though of course for £1m+ you can pretty much do what you like with it.

Further inside the V12 Roadster is also treated to… a big V12. It’s the same spec as the coupe, which means you’re treated to a 5.7-litre re-engineered twelve-cylinder capable of 550bhp, 443lb ft and a 0-62mph time somewhere under four seconds. That’s still channelled through a six-speed manual to the rear wheels. All in, only 19 of these Roadsters are being built.

“An open-air evolution of the original Eccentrica V12, the Roadster transforms a 1990s icon into the analogue supercar its creators would dream of today,” it said. We’ll bring you more news – and more pics – when we get them.
