“Even on this brief first acquaintance which was limited by a road network more used to Fiat 500s and goats than 789bhp hypercars, it’s immediately obvious that the steering is sharper than the standard car, and the brakes are mighty, and the performance is brutal… delivering the kind of acceleration you can feel in your face…”
Yes, we’ve driven - albeit briefly - Pagani’s limited-edition, €2.3m Huayra BC. It’s a hardcore edition of the turbocharged hypercar, and first impressions are, well, impressive. The ‘BC’ by the way, stands for Benny Caiola; he was Mr Horacio Pagani’s first customer, and is his friend and mentor. A fine honour, you will agree.
Before you head off to read our first drive though, you must understand that the new Huayra boasts incredible levels of detail. Have a click through our pics then, above, and then read TG’s first drive of the Pagani Huayra BC here.
