This week, we drove the brand new Lamborghini Centenario.
If you need reminding of its essentials, here they are. It’s a limited edition, just 40 being made, each of them a very expensive memento to mark what would have been the 100th birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini.
The engine? A 760bhp version of the Aventador SV’s 6.5-litre V12. That means a 2.8-second 0-62mph time, and a typically nonchalant ‘in excess of 217mph’ top speed.
There’s also bundles of new tech, with almost racecar-like aero, Lamborghini’s take on connectivity, and rear-wheel steering. We’ve seen it in Porsches and Ferraris, but this is its first time in a Lamborghini.
