Americans! Meet your new Porsche 911
This is a new Porsche 911. It's a GTS Club Coupe, and is being built in very limited numbers, offered only to members of the Porsche Club of America.
Why? This year marks six decades of "the largest Porsche club in the world", and Porsche wants to shower this organisation with love and oversteer. So, it is rolling out 60 units of this rather lovely 911 for those lucky so and sos.
It starts out life as a rear-wheel-drive 911 GTS, features the 44mm wider body of the Carrera 4, SportDesign side mirrors, black framed headlights, tinted rear lights, and the new ‘Club Blau' colour.
Then there's the SportDesign package, which really amps it up: a new front fascia, that excellent ducktail rear spoiler, 20in sport classic wheels (in gloss black) and rim flanges. Ahem.
Underneath there's the Carrera S's 430bhp flat six, capable of shifting the GTS CC from 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds with Porsche's PDK ‘box, together with a standard-fit sports exhaust system. Top speed is 190mph (or 189mph if specced with PDK), and there's even a third centre radiator to "ensure consistent performance in all conditions".
Adaptive damping is present, along with a 10mm drop in ride height, the Sport Chrono Pack (with dynamic engine mounts) and torque vectoring. There's some red stitching and ‘GTS Club Coupe' markings inside, too.
It'll be offered to members of the PCA for the price of $136,060 - a smidge under £90k - with the display vehicle being offered up in a competition.
So, American members of the Porsche Club of America, whaddya think of your new Porsche 911?
