Yikes! The Cadillac Escalade IQ will start at $129,900
Electric Escalade will cost $40k more than the V8. Got to pay for that F1 team somehow…
Cadillac has confirmed official pricing for the new Escalade IQ, and it certainly ain’t cheap. In fact, prices will start at $129,900 for the entry-level Luxury 1 trim, meaning it’s around $40k more than the V8-engined combustion Escalade. That’s… a lot.
You do get a lot of car for your dollar of course. The Escalade IQ comes with 24in wheels, a 55in digital dash display, a 200kWh battery and twin electric motors with 750hp and 785lb ft of torque in Velocity Max mode. Cadillac is now also claiming 460 miles of range. Should be plenty.
Other trims include Sport 1 ($130,490), Luxury 2 ($149,990) and Sport 2 ($150,490) with the level of kit increasing as you step up the ladder, although the boggo Luxury 1 is hardly short of tech. Think active noise cancellation, Google built-in, four-wheel steer, three rows of seating, a 19-speaker audio system, GM’s Super Cruise and many cameras to help you park such a giant thing.
