And so the circle of life continues. Hot on the heels of Kirkham Motorsports University’s natty vid on creating a 7.0-litre V8 from a single block of aloominum comes this, courtesy of TopGear.commer Emil Furniss.

It is a video of engine death. A crunchy, crushy, metallicy death. Watch as engine blocks quiver and try to escape its jaws. Then watch as Captain monster munch devours internal combustion at its best without flinching.

It doesn’t matter if you used to pack 10bhp or 1,000bhp: all before it will perish.
