This is the new McLaren W1. The latest in a short line of cars with long histories and even longer stats sheets. You know the F1. You remember the P1. Now it's the turn of this orange turbo hyperthing to take the fight to the new Ferrari F80 and lead McLaren's march into the future.

And at first glance, the W1 doesn't seem all that different from its immediate predecessor. Where's the progress, McLaren?

Well, that'll be the brand new 4.0-litre V8. The next-gen aero philosophy. The fact it's the highest-revving McLaren ever built.
