Volkswagen Polo news - Volkswagen nets Polo triumph - 2006

The Volkswagen Polo is the quickest car in Europe. Well, at least in .eu.

VW pipped rivals to secure the web address www.polo.eu, beating off competition from fashion brand Ralph Lauren and confectionary company Nestle.

The race to get the web address was so fierce that VW only just beat Ralph Lauren by three minutes.

The .eu suffix goes live at the start of April, so expect to see a dedicated site for the soon-to-arrive Polo GTi.
