What should I be paying?

Aston Martin has already delivered nearly 200 Valhallas with a total production run of 999 cars. The starting price is £850,000 but the average spend is somewhere around a million. We’d skip the forged carbon interior but definitely go for the magnesium rims, which save 8kg and help the dynamics in every way.

According to designer Marek Reichman the car looks best in Andromeda Red – a complex, ever-changing paint finish. However, of the launch cars the most striking Valhalla was finished in Lunar white. It’s a great shape and really doesn’t need a bold livery. There, maybe we’ve just saved you some money…

But whatever spec, don’t expect much change from a cool £1 million.
