Aston Martin Vanquish S review
Interior
What is it like on the inside?
The hard sell here is asking customers to part with £200k for a car they know is soon to expire. TG can reassure you, though, that the DB11’s interior, replete with Mercedes electronics, is actually the car’s weak point and the Vanquish’s cabin, here laced with new spider’s web stitching, is no less of an event, or lacking in any significant piece of tech. It’ll consume a little more fuel (21.6mpg, 302g/km), sure, and the engine is less flexible than the one in the DB11, but this powertrain crackles with energy and has a greater capacity to excite. And then there’s the styling, something entirely personal, we get it, but for us this kicks the DB11 into touch.
