What is it like on the inside?

There’s no wind kerfuffle with the roof up and, once it has folded away in complete silence in 22 seconds, the wealthy occupants within remain gloriously undisturbed. It’s a full four-seater, with rear access eased by the rear-hinged doors, and all occupants are treated like VIPs by the Dawn.

Quality is off-the-scale good, with a little extra brightwork within to differentiate the Dawn from the Wraith it shares so much with. Again, this all helps it avoid the trad tropes of lesser luxury cars, while also dodging bling. Impressive. The view through the windscreen, down that imperious ‘out-of-my-way-proles’ bonnet, remains unique and there’s a bit of added functional theatre too: by raising up an inch higher than normal, the Spirit of Ecstasy introduces a ‘wake’ channel...
