Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV - long-term review

It has a 45-litre fuel tank, 15 litres smaller than non-hybrid Outlanders. With no plug-in charging, I’m getting around 30mpg – 300 miles between refills. Which isn’t enough. If you can top up nightly with electricity, it’s a different story: you might rarely need visit a pump. But if a plug-in charge is an occasional bonus, it’s harder to make the PHEV maths add up.
