Hurrah! The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio will remain on sale until 2027

As will the hot Stelvio, even though both cars were supposed to die last year

Published: 23 Feb 2026

Excellent news for proper petrolheads – Alfa Romeo has announced that the Giulia Quadrifoglio will remain on sale until 2027. Quick, we must all go and buy one immediately!

Its sibling the Stelvio Quadrifoglio will also live on until next year, with Alfa claiming it has made the decision “in response to requests from enthusiasts”. Turns out we do have a say in things after all.

“As announced at the recent Brussels Motor Show 2026, we're reopening orders for the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio, to keep to a promise made to customers of ours who pay the most attention to the extreme performance and pure emotions inherent in Alfa Romeo's DNA,” said boss Santo Ficili.

“This is the best way to celebrate one of the most famous symbols in the automotive world, which brings with it a century-old quest for technical excellence applied to competition and production cars.”

Of course, both the Giulia and Stelvio were supposed to be killed off last year, but the stay of execution comes as Alfa pushes back its all-electric and hybrid replacements. Oh, and the standard 2.0-litre four-pot versions of each car will plough on for another couple of years too, but it’s the 513bhp twin-turbo V6 saloon you really want.

No word on whether prices will change here in the UK or in Europe, but at the time of writing you can have a Giulia Quadrifoglio on our shores for £86,885.
