Do you have shoes with tassels on? A large watch that jangles when you walk? An interest in very rare, very costly supercars? Then you’ll be thrilled to learn that the chaps behind the Salon Prive Concours d’Elégance have announced details of the seventh annual event, held in Syon Park.
There’ll be all manner of new, exciting and expensive things to look at this year, including a liberal spattering of British premieres. 18 of the world’s 22 ROFGO Gulf collection racers will be exhibited together in one place for the first time, and the Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera Disco Volante is making its first appearance in the UK.
There’ll also be some quite exciting one-offs shipped in from around Europe, including a Lamborghini Flying Star, Aston Martin DB4 Bertone Jet, 1912 the world’s oldest competition Bugatti (Type 16 number 471), and this Ferrari 330 GT Vignale shooting brake, belonging to Jamiroquai’s Jay Kay, who showed us round it last week.
Fancy it? You’ll have to wait till September 6, but because we’re nice we rustled up a few cars to keep you going till then.
