The Genesis GV60 has been given a small mid-cycle facelift
Plus an update for the giant 27in infotainment screen and a new steering wheel
Genesis has facelifted its charming mid-sized all-electric GV60 SUV for the first time since its 2021 launch with a small, erm, facelift. Plus minor tweaks inside.
The redesigned front bumper features a more three-dimensional look, fancy headlamps with Micro Lens Array technology (nope, us neither), and fresh 21in five-spoke shoes.
A reworked grille now sits lower than before and has a straighter shape to it, flanked by boomerang-like air vents out wide to give the nose a more chiselled appearance.
The interior still looks contemporary and stylish, and Genesis has topped it up with an updated 27in infotainment screen (same size as before) repositioned to give the cabin a more spacious feel. There’s a new three-spoke multifunction steering wheel in there too.
No word on changes to the powertrain line-up as yet, so we’re expecting the previous three options to stay put. They include ‘Premium’, ‘Sport’ and ‘Sport Plus’, with the 483bhp dual-motor Sport Plus leading the line with a 0-62mph run of four seconds flat.
The 77.4kWh battery pack should also remain across the three trim levels, delivering a maximum range of 321 miles and a 10-80 per cent recharge in 18 minutes. More than enough time to figure out exactly what on earth Micro Lens Array technology is.
Pricing and further details will be revealed later on in the year, ahead of the facelifted GV60’s initial roll-out in the Korean market.
