The inside of this £276k Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is like a private jet
Clive Sutton's extraordinary seven-seater is peak executive shuttle
Ah, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, the epitome of Big Executive Shuttle, now given a first class makeover via London-based Clive Sutton to make it a more executive-y Big Executive Shuttle. Welcome to the quarter-of-a-mil ‘First Class’ package.
The conversion brings with it an array of fixtures to keep occupants entertained on long motorway hauls, including acres of leather and wood veneer, and a huge panoramic sunroof for up to seven passengers to enjoy in padded, reclining massage seats. Yes, please.
There’s also a pair of 43in TV screens and a PlayStation 5 on-board, amplified further by cinema-grade surround sound, ambient lighting and darkened privacy glass. Before we forget, there’s also a 25 and 35-litre fridge located within. 60 litres of liquid should be enough for a trip from London to Manchester, right?
There’s no mention of any potential mechanical upgrades as part of the First Class overhaul, so expect the engine you send to Clive Sutton (probably a turbo-diesel inline-four with some power and some torques) to be left unchanged.
Cost? That’ll be around £276,000 once VAT is accounted for - or close to the starting list price of a McLaren 765LT.
