This just in: next Bentley Supersports will be the first ever RWD Conti GT
Bentley’s new lightweight, ‘driver-focused’ luxury GT is inbound
Breaking news: a new Bentley Continental GT ‘Supersports’ is in the works, and it’ll apparently be the lightest, most driver-focused and first rear-wheel drive Continental GT ever.
We know this because Bentley told us. “The new Bentley Supersports will be the lightest, most driver-focused and first rear-wheel drive Continental GT ever,” it said. Worth repeating, especially as it’s pretty much all we’ve got to go on for now.

That, and the fact it’ll be built in limited numbers to nobody’s great surprise. Despite first appearing 100 years ago, this new one will be only the fourth Supersports Bentley, making it a rare, rare motor car.
