‘Perseus’ is a British EV start-up landing in 2027 with a compact SUV
It'll be built by ex-Bentley and Lotus people, and the Italians will design and test it
Say hello to Perseus: a new British electric carmaker that has announced a compact SUV as its first car, set to arrive in 2027. And before you sigh and close this page, there are some things you might want to consider.
Its team includes ex-Bentley and Lotus people, and it has a partnership in place with an as-yet-unnamed European OEM to provide support for the platform.
The blacked-out image gives very little away about the car, save for... looking like the front end of a car. Perseus said it’ll be highly "performance and technology-focused".
The styling will be penned by an Italian design and engineering house, which will also carry out the testing and validation work, while it's partnering with a "world-leading" human machine interface (HMI), AI and software specialist.
So, here goes another ambitious start-up in its quest for EV world dominion. More details when we get it...
