Video: Terrafugia car plane takes flight
Supervillains! Spies! Insane billionaires! Good news! The second prototype of the Terrafugia Transition flying car has taken to the skies, converted into a car, then driven around a bit for the very first time.
Yep, the £183,600 car-o-plane has taken off at this year's EAA AirVenture expo in Wisconsin, USA, landed, folded its wings up, then driven off the runway. Just like the manufacturer promised when it debuted at the 2012 New York motor show.
But you won't actually be able to order one just yet. This is the second of three Transition prototypes that's been built before the production version lands in 2016. If you're super-keen, you can drop a £6580 deposit down now, though...
Now, watch the video, then tell us if you'd prefer a Transition or James' caravan airship?
