A real-life Forza Horizon Festival is coming to the British Motor Museum
Get ready for a day of music, drifting and, erm… face painting to celebrate the launch of Forza Horizon 6
We’re really rather excited for the release of Forza Horizon 6, especially since we’ve already had an early taste of the Japan-based open-world map. Spoiler alert: it’s a beauty.
The game will be available on Xbox and PC on 15 May, and to celebrate its release the British Motor Museum is bringing a little bit of the Horizon Festival to life later in the month. Wait, what?
Yep, to open its wider ‘Forza Horizon 6: The Experience’ exhibition, the museum in Gaydon is hosting a one-day festival on 23 May with a load of JDM cars, a drift stunt show choreographed by precision driver Tessa Whittock and live music from the game. Ace.
Plus, there'll be a mini car arena and face painting for the little ones. “What would little Billy like today? A tiger, a panda? Perhaps a fully sideways Mazda RX-7 on his forehead?”

The real-life festival will be opened by Craig Duncan, the boss of Xbox Game Studios, and there'll be ‘gaming vans’ and simulators to play some Forza on site. Developers from the Midlands-based Playground Games will also be holding talks and answering questions on games creation.
The exhibition will continue after the 23 May on the mezzanine floor of the British Motor Museum, with Skyline GT-Rs and Honda NSXs alongside further simulators. Apparently there will also be ‘exclusive Forza Horizon 6 merchandise’ up for grabs for the quickest drivers on said sims. Excuse us while we queue up for yet another go…
