Geneva 2011: new Maser GranCabrio Sport
Harder, faster and - apparently - better. And not a shred of it will matter.
This is the Maserati GranCabrio Sport; a fettled version of the standard Cab, the new Maser now gets 450bhp (up from 434bhp) from its all-alloy 4.7-litre V8 and 376lb ft of torque. Top speed is 177mph, while fuel consumption has been reduced by 6%.

The six-speed auto ‘box has the same software as used on the Quattroporte Sport GTS, and Maser has turned its attention to the GranCab's handling via a revision of the Skyhook active suspension system, whilst also fitting drilled, dual-cast brake discs.
It also comes with a new body colour which you see above, dubbed ‘Rosso Trionfale', inspired by the Italian national colours used on 1950s racing Maseratis.
As we said before, all good, but ultimately pointless. The GranCab looks and sounds amazing and makes you feel like a God. How it performs is irrelevant.
