Listen to the new Aston Martin Vulcan
Fire. Noise. A shady racer silhouette. A massive great rear wing. Ladies and gentlemen, this is your final video call before Aston unleashes its new Vulcan.
It'll be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show on 3 March, but until then, we've got this short, shouty video of the Vulcan's engine note. A video that also contains a significant quantity of exhaust fire.
Sources at Aston tell us the Vulcan will be the most extreme car in the company's long history; a track-only supercar with a production run limited to fewer than 30 models, inspired by Aston's motorsport programme.
You can therefore expect it to feature some iteration of Aston's big, venerable V12 engine, possibly pushing out even more than the 740bhp of AM's One-77. Rear-wheel-drive? Check. Stiffer, harder and lighter? Check. Fast? Check. Lots of fire? Double-check.
We'll bring you more as soon as we have it. For now, just turn it up and enjoy...
