Lynk & Co’s The Next Day concept has some of the greatest doors you’ll ever see
We’ve got scant detail on the concept, but just check out these doors
Chinese-Swedish firm Lynk & Co has released pictures of a barmy new concept car called The Next Day. And no, we’re not making this up.
We’ve barely had any details on the The Day After Today as of yet, but just look at it. It’s a four-door saloon/coupe/GT kinda thing with a long bonnet, swooping roofline, massive wheels and two-tone paint. Brave.
There’s a full glass roof, Lynk & Co’s signature light detail up front and plenty of creases in the body. Oh, and just check out those doors. Whatever they are they almost certainly won’t make it anywhere near production.
Rumour has it there’s a plug-in hybrid powertrain hiding under the fancy skin of the The Tomorrow, which would certainly tie it in with the Volvo XC40-based Lynk & Co 01.
The interior is dominated by some lovely blue velvet chairs and a widescreen-filled dash, and there’s a yoke-like steering wheel with another screen front and centre. So, in the absence of any detail just yet, what do we think of the looks?
