Novitec has given the Ferrari Daytona SP3 even more power

German tuner uncorks the SP3’s 6.5-litre V12 and ups output to 856bhp

Published: 17 Feb 2026

As the third model in Ferrari’s Icona series, the Daytona SP3 was a wild, limited run, £2m homage to the racing prototypes of the 1960s. And yet, despite the rarity and the bonkers price tag, German tuner Novitec clearly felt it wasn’t quite right.

So, say hello to an even more powerful SP3. Yep, rather than the standard 828bhp from the naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, this one is making 856bhp thanks to a new, freer breathing exhaust system with optional gold-plating.

Novitec says this little power bump means the Daytona is “even more lively and reacts more promptly still to gas pedal commands”. Lively might be an understatement.

Should sound fairly life-affirming too, because there are electronically controlled exhaust flaps that allow you to switch between all-out V12 wail and a “decidedly subtle” noise when closed.

Thankfully the SP3’s already dramatic styling has been left well alone, save for a new set of forged wheels from Vossen. They’re 20in up front and 21in at the rear, by the way.

Oh, and Novitec also says it can retrim the interior in “the finest leather and Alcantara” should other Daytona SP3 owners come calling.
