Rate the race: the 2016 Brazilian GP

Thrills, many spills and the save of the year: have your say on Sunday's Formula One

Published: 14 Nov 2016

Yes, Lewis Hamilton is still in the title hunt for the 2016 Formula One world championship following his win at the Brazilian GP yesterday. And with that win - his 52nd - he now moves into second place on the list of the most winningest drivers in F1 history (Schuey, with 91 wins, is still a long way off).

He even managed to score his first ever win at Brazil; a track he has long desired success at, what with his affinity and affection for Ayrton Senna.

Rosberg came in second after a strategy blunder by Red Bull, but let's be honest, yesterday's race was all about Max Verstappen being, well, Max Verstappen. His bold move on Rosberg to put him into second (before that strategy call), quite possibly the finest save in Formula One history, and an astonishing recovery drive to finish on the podium... all excellent.

The heavy, persistent rain provided all sorts of drama up and down the track: Alonso vs Vettel, Raikkonen's scary spin/crash, Massa's unfortunate exit and spontaneous 'guard of honour' where he was applauded by everyone up and down the pit lane...

Have your say below. Should F1 just douse every circuit with standing water and let the drivers off the leash?
