Mazda’s very own MiniHulk, the MX-5 GT, made its track debut over the weekend at the Britcar MSA British Endurance Championship.

A stripped-out, pumped-up racing roadster prepped by Jota Sport, the GT lasted the full three hours at Silverstone, and maintained second in class for most of the race before finishing sixth. Don’t forget, it was up against contenders from Porsche, BMW and Lotus.

It boasts 275bhp from its 2.0-litre motor, hits 62mph from rest in just three seconds, tops out at 160mph and has a rigidity 17 times stronger than required by the FIA. Hulk Angry!
