Looks like Prodrive is working on a two-door Subaru Impreza restomod
Details are scarce for now, but our imaginations are already running wild…
Prodrive – the Brit motorsport firm responsible for some of the greatest racecars across all disciplines in the last 40 years – has hinted that it is working on a two-door Subaru Impreza restomod.
We say that, but if we’re honest we’re pretty much guessing at the moment. Prodrive did run the image you see above on its social media accounts with the caption “an icon redefined, this is P25” though.
It also handily left a date, so we should see the finished product (whatever that may be) on 25 May. We are extremely excited indeed – not least because that is clearly the silhouette of a two-door Impreza.
Prodrive of course ran the Subaru World Rally Team from 1990 right up until 2008, starting out with the Subaru Legacy before switching to the now-iconic Impreza. It was also commissioned to produce 1,000 examples of the glorious two-door P1 road car. Could the P25 be a modern day update on that? We’ll have to wait and see…
