Well, we can now bring you news that it sold for £38,250 at the Silverstone Auctions Classic Sale this past weekend.

Yep, that’s a Mk4 25th Anniversary edition GTI (with the 180bhp 1.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine) for a little bit MORE than it’d cost you to buy a brand-new Mk8 GTI Clubsport. Which would you rather have folks?
