Watch Stig thrash a Porsche 911 GT3 RS around the Top Gear test track
Porsche's Nürburgring hero meets our tame racing driver on his home turf. This is gonna be fast...
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a very fast car. A very good, very fast car, that has a lot of very good, very fast and very punchy metrics. Like 0-62mph in 3.2s. 860kg of downforce at 177mph. 406kg at 124mph. 184mph flat out. And then there's its 4.0-litre sixer punching out 518bhp.
"Heck, it may 'only' have 518bhp," we said in our review, "but this thing lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6m 49.328s towards the end of 2022. That's over 10 seconds quicker than the 'standard' GT3.
"The GT3 RS is no oil painting, but you won’t worry about its form given how well it all functions. You’ll need to bring your A-game, though. It deserves it."
We know someone who doesn't understand 'A-game' but definitely understands how well the GT3 RS functions. It's Stig, and here's the lap time that really matters: the Top Gear test track.
