The Palm Beach Edition DB12 Volante is a true Brit abroad

Aston’s Q division creates a one-off drop-top DB12 to celebrate South Florida

Published: 28 May 2025

Aston Martin’s Palm Beach dealership has commissioned a one-off special edition to drum up interest in the Brit brand’s ‘Q by Aston Martin’ personalisation service. And lo, here it is: the Palm Beach Edition DB12 Volante.

Yep, Aston Martin Palm Beach decided to pay tribute to… Palm Beach. What a surprise.

Still, the end product is rather lovely indeed. The drop-top DB12 is finished in ‘Frosted Blue Glass’ paint which is sprayed by hand and features glass flakes in its topcoat. We’re told this mirrors “the unmistakably mesmerising shimmer effect that perfectly encapsulates the south Florida sun”. Right.

There’s plenty more to make this car a proper one-off, too. A ‘Club Sport White’ pinstripe adorns the front splitter, side sill and rear bumper, while the ‘Gloss Jet Black’ diamond-turned five-spoke wheels look decidedly brilliant.

There’s also a nautical-themed interior that deploys ‘Aurora Blue’ and ‘Ivory’ leather, with ‘Spicy Red’ contrast stitching and plenty of lovely open-pore Light Olive Ash wood. A bespoke palm leaf motif is stitched into the seats and doors, and that’s matched on the outside by the custom aluminium side strakes.

Aston reckons this creation “brings the highest level of Q by Aston Martin personalisation to the open-top Super Tourer”. Thoughts on the Floridian special?
