Rezvani’s lifted Huracán gets a supercharger and WAY more ground clearance than a Sterrato

“Dune is not simply a lifted supercar. It is an entirely new species of performance vehicle,” reads the rather confident press release for Rezvani’s latest wild creation. And yes, that is very much a dig at Lamborghini’s own Huracán Sterrato.

That’s because Rezvani – purveyors of armoured, apocalypse-proof SUVs – has taken the Huracán a little bit further with its lift kit and off-road prep.

So, while the factory Sterrato rode 44mm higher than a standard Huracan, the Dune gets a monster 114mm lift from its new suspension setup. Combine that with the supremely chunky 31in mud-terrain tyres and you’re looking at a 152mm lift in total vs the standard, road-going supercar. Overall ground clearance is now 279mm, and there are approach and departure angles of 25 degrees and 35 degrees respectively. For reference, the Sterrato’s were 10.4 and 26.5 degrees.

There’s plenty of underbody protection for the Dune too. And the small matter of 800bhp from its now-supercharged 5.2-litre V10. That power is of course sent to all four wheels, and there’s a completely redesigned carbon body with a swoopier shape, a giant roof scoop and auxiliary lights integrated into the front bumper.

Just seven Dunes will be built in total, and you can reserve one now with a $1,500 deposit. No word on how much you’ll have to cough up after that for the finished article.

Rezvani describes this thing as “the supercar set free”. So, this or Lambo’s own take on the off-road Huracán?
