You can now configure your imaginary Ferrari F80 hypercar
From dozens of colour and pinstripe combinations to a near-full sweep of the interior, here’s your ideal way to spend the next half an hour
Fancy an excuse for an impromptu work break? Ferrari has opened up a configurator for its new F80 hypercar, and though customisation remains limited for now, there’s enough there to result in some quite brilliant (or ridiculous) results.
You’ll start by choosing from various Standard, Historical, Classic or Special exterior paints (yes, Rosso Corsa is included), and then furnishing it with a door number and pinstripe. Two finishes for the five-spoke alloys can be had too - though no changes to the alloy design itself - and multiple brake caliper choices.
Next up is the cabin, where the seats, Alcantara trim, headliner, seat belts and a few other bits can be played around with. The infotainment and safety gizmos can be specced up here too, with an option to add a display to the passenger side.
Beyond this, the only thing left to do is enquire. Though we’d remain wishful at this stage since Ferrari will only build 799 F80s and shift them for an eye-watering £3.1m apiece.
Whaddya reckon its best colour combination is then, folks?
