New Top Gear mag out now: on the road in the Focus RS
TG mag drives the most anticipated new car of 2016: Ford's 345bhp RS hot hatch
In the new March issue of Top Gear magazine, we take the most anticipated car of 2016, the Ford Focus RS, for a 2,000-mile European jaunt across the Alps to find out if it really is the greatest hot hatch in the world.
In celebration of the RS’s launch, we also check out the legacy of fast Fords by visiting Dagenham to drive the MkI Escort Mexico, Sierra RS Cosworth, Escort RS Cosworth and MkI Focus RS.
Also in this issue, we take the Land Rover Discovery Sport, BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC for a bout of off-road mud wrestling, speak to the man who created the amazing BMW i8 Spyder and check out the difference in performance between Formula One and World Endurance Championship racers.
Over in Japan, we pop to the supermarket to pick up some milk… in a road-legal, Le Mans Porsche 962. And back in the UK, we find out whether it’s really practical to use a Hyundai WRC car as your day-to-day runaround.
There’s more, too. You’ll get all the big car news - from the Lexus LC 500, new Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Volkswagen Budd-e and VLF Force 1 V10 - and all the new car reviews that matter. Stuff like the new Lotus Exige Sport 350, Renault Megane, Bentley Mulsanne Speed, Lexus RX450h, Alpina D3, plus a twin-test between the Audi A4 Avant and Mercedes-Benz C250d Estate.
Never miss an issue with one of these great offers:
