Chris Harris faces his biggest ever challenge: cricket!

Top Gear has history with cricket. Notably when we invaded a pitch in a Range Rover Velar, or indeed when we rolled into one in a Reliant Robin. Truly, we understand this game.

Chris Harris understands it more than most in the office, and has been confirmed as one of the stars in a special match happening today.

Yep, the Test Match Special team comprising of England cricket heroes - and captained by Ashes winning captain Michael Vaughan - will face off against a team of celebrities – and our Harris – dubbed the Tailenders. The Tailenders are captained by Greg James, Radio 1's breakfast DJ from Monday whose cricket podcast on BBC Radio 5 Live uses the same name.

The match kicks off today at the County Ground in Derby at 4pm, in front of 5,000 fans no doubt eager to make sure Harris doesn’t enter the grounds sideways in a BMW M3.
