A closer look at TG's new ‘Reasonably Fast Car’, the Toyota GT86

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a new star on Top Gear: the Toyota GT86.

Yep, with the return of the original Top Gear track, we decided to up the ante with our celebrity chariot. We needed something a bit faster, a bit more fun… and a bit livelier.

The GT86 is of course, Toyota’s rear-wheel-drive, wallet-friendly sports car. As you’ll have seen from episode one of new TG TV s24, celebrity guest James McAvoy certainly proved it’s ‘lively’ credentials following tutelage from Chris Harris.

So, hit play above where Top Gear magazine’s Jack Rix takes you for a quick poke around the car… and then takes to a rather soaking wet Dunsfold for a sighter lap.
