Watch: a rather big fiery burnout
This delicate little flower's called Kranky, and it's a supercharged Holden V8. As you can see, it's rather powerful. Because, not only does it manage a burnout with the lightest sniff of throttle, it also manages to set fire to itself. And the road. And a small bush. This is something we have experience of ourselves on Top Gear...
This particular burnout's been undertaken in the name of competition (remember, when it comes to public highways, skids are for kids), namely the Kandos Street Machine and Hot Rod show in Australia. We have no idea if Kranky won, but nobody present at this genteel and thoughtful event really seems to care.
