This is why you need an Ariel Nomad
If you’ve been anywhere near the car-loving corners of the internet in the last couple of days, you can’t have escaped the Ariel Nomad. Nor the profuse outpouring of love that has followed its unveiling.
Need a recap? The creators of the Atom sports car have crafted a mad but outrageously brilliant looking off-road buggy, with a 235bhp Honda VTEC engine at its heart and some properly knobbly tyres at the muddy end of some very trick suspension.
The best bit? Prices will start at around £30,000. Not cheap for something utterly barren of luxury, you may argue. But we’d argue that on a fun-per-pound basis, there could be little to touch it at any price.
If you need convincing, our first taster of it in action - courtesy of Ariel’s video above - ought to do it…
