What REALLY happened at the 2025 Miami GP?
New podcast The Inside Track takes you behind the scenes for the full F1 season
If you are, as Hamilton imagined Ferrari’s engineers were doing last Sunday, on a tea break, why not have a listen to this. ‘This’ is a new F1 podcast brought to you by BBC Studios Productions, and it’s called The Inside Track.
It is, as the name rather suggests, an inside look at this year’s thrilling Formula One season, with hosts Rick Edwards and Matt Majendie bringing you all the biggest stories from every race with exclusive insights from Red Bull Racing’s Christian Horner and Max Verstappen.
Indeed, sports journalist Majendie will spend the entire F1 season embedded within RBR to bring you the latest from the track, the garage and the team’s headquarters right into the studio. And as you’ve already noticed from the first clutch of races, it’s shaping up to be a thriller.
“We’re really looking forward to having Matt as part of the team here at Oracle Red Bull Racing,” said Horner. “We’re going to have tight opposition this year, the 2025 season is going to be a tough fight from start to finish”.
Majendie said: “Red Bull have been the most successful F1 team in recent years. I’m thrilled that they’ve given me unprecedented access to their operation. It’s an incredible opportunity to see the season first hand and give our audience the inside track on what makes Red Bull and Formula 1 such a compelling story.”
Edwards added: “As a big F1 fan since the heady days of Prost and Senna, I’m thrilled to be piggybacking on Matt’s unbelievable access, whilst slightly concerned that I won’t be able to contain my giggling excitement.”
In the latest episode, Edwards and Majendie discuss the Miami GP, including Piastri’s dominant win, the virtual safety car, and of course, the most important item on the agenda: tea.
