America’s biggest car company, but somehow sort of an honorary Brit. Founded by Henry Ford in 1903, the Blue Oval arguably invented the modern motor car in the shape of the Model T, and hasn’t looked back since. The Fiesta has been Britain’s best-selling car since pretty much forever, while the rest of Ford’s line-up remains, on the whole, better to drive than the competition.
