Top Gear Series 23 (2016)

For 2016, the TG team spanned the globe in search of motoring hooliganism. Highlights included a hotride around London in a modified Mustang, thrashing Ferrari’s mad F12tdf, buying a second-hand car to race the Orient Express down to Venice, and a plethora of McLarens hooning around our test track. With Jenson Button.
Elsewhere, Matt took a bit of a wrong turn on his way to the West Country and ended up in Morocco… in an Ariel Nomad. Rory had to hotfoot it to Geneva in Jag’s nutjob F-Type SVR. Oh, and Harris got Vulcanised…

Episode 1

TG heads to the home of Top Gun to pit the 645bhp Dodge Viper ACR against a Chevy Corvette Z06. With guns. Elsewhere, Matt LeBlanc takes Ariel’s manic Nomad into deepest Morocco for some fun, and The Social Network and Batman vs Superman star Jesse Eisenberg, and Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay, are our celebrity guests.

Episode 5

One of 2016’s most driftable cars gets the full Chris Harris treatment: it’s the TG track test of the BMW M2. Elsewhere, Rory Reid retraces the steps of legendary Jaguar driver Norman Dewis; Dewis don’t forget, was tasked with driving an E-Type overnight to Geneva to make it in time for a big unveil at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show. Rory’s steed? Why, the 2016 Jaguar F-Type SVR.

Episode 6

Chris Harris takes on Honda’s much anticipated new NSX supercar, while Rory Reid heads to Scotland to see if the new four-cylinder, right-hand-drive Ford Mustang actually works in the UK. There’s also the not-so-small matter of Matt LeBlanc in Porsche’s new unicorn: the 911 R. GT3 RS engine, GT3 body, some aero and some retro goodness, could this be the most perfect 911 ever?
