The dinky Citroen Ami costs £7,695 if you live in the UK
Prices for passenger and cargo versions of the fully electric quadricycle revealed
Citroen has announced UK prices for its tiny little Ami, and it starts from £7,695.
That doesn’t get you a car of course, because the Ami isn’t a car – it’s a quadricycle. A fully electric quad at that, offering up the heady possibilities of just under 28mph flat out.
That starting price gets you into the cheapest of three Ami trims available, called… ‘Ami’. This includes a digital speedo! LED lights! A panoramic glass roof! A USB port! You can also pick one of three colour packs that cost £400 each and include orange, blue or grey.
The next levels up include the Ami ‘Pop’ and Ami ‘Vibe’ that offer up standard-fit colour packs and a few more custom features fitted straight from the factory. Prices for those are £8,495 for the Pop, and £8,895 for the Vibe.
There’s also an Ami Cargo too, built as a little business tyke able to carry up to 400-litres of… stuff. These start from £7,995.
All Amis come with a 5.5kWh battery powering a 6kW motor to allow that 27.9mph daredevil top speed, and a range of 46 miles. Want to know what it’s actually like to steer? Click here for TopGear.com’s 9/10 review.
