This is the one-off 819bhp Pagani Huayra NC
Pagani has a special projects division, and it’s rolled out a wild new hypercar
Pagani has a special projects division, surprisingly called Pagani Special Projects, and it has revealed a new one-off. Welcome to the Pagani Huayra NC.
Yes, ‘Pagani Special Projects’ will no doubt elicit an ‘aren’t all Paganis special projects’ response, such is their rarity, performance, detailing and price. And you’d be right. Because this one at least looks like another slice of unobtanium.
Details are scarce, but we do know it’s a road-legal Huayra (unlike the R) that “loves the racetrack”, and is said to feature performance-enhancing features in the structure, the chassis and the mechanics.
The NC’s engine kicks out 819bhp and 796lb ft of torque, though from which of Pagani’s V12s is unclear. One suspects it’s the twin-turbo AMG-derived V12, as opposed to the R’s nat-asp version. It’ll be fast no matter what, especially considering it weighs just 1,240kg, a shade lighter than the BC Roadster.
There’s a seven-speed sequential gearbox on board, “electronically managed suspensions” and Trofeo R tyres for Maximus Stickimus. We’ve only seen the one picture, but some observations can be made: the aero setup looks similar to the one on the Huayra BC Roadster (wild rear diffuser, air scoop and front wing included); there’s a healthy amount of carbon fibre; it looks sensational.
But then it would look sensational, because it’s a Pagani, and all Paganis are special. Right?
