Project Motor Racing’s next DLC is a feast of classic IMSA machinery

11 new cars and a new track, out 10 November

Published: 21 Oct 2026

Project Motor Racing, like many releases recently, didn’t have an easy time out of the gate but is diligently working its way back to excellence via post-launch updates. Speaking of: the upcoming World Endurance pack features some particularly choice hardware of the ‘80s and ‘90s variety.

Models such as Tom Walkinshaw’s timeless-but-very-eighties Jaguar XJR-9 GTP, that 1988 Nissan GTP ZX Turbo that looked ready to launch into deep space, and its Porsche 962 GTP gridmate are the highlights to our eye.

If you prefer the BMW March, Chevrolet Corvette C4 or Ford Probe from that era though, you’re well served by this pack.

It’s not all vehicles that are old enough to remember Prefab Sprout and whom you’d probably get into an argument about politics with if they could talk, though. Representing the nu-school LMP1 class are Audi’s all-conquering R18, Porsche’s 918 and the Toyota TS050 hybrid.

Meanwhile, the LMP2s get some new blood too. Er, sort of. The Oliveira P2-13 and P2-26 Evo are fictional vehicles, the former harking back to 2010s endurance prototypes while the Evo is specced out like the current crop.

Mount Fuji joins the track list, and excitingly it’s available in two versions across two time periods, 1966 and present. So you can let your ‘80s cars loose on the vintage track, then enjoy the modern day car-track combo.

The pack’s out on 10 November and represents the biggest single addition so far since the game launched last year. The price hasn’t been revealed yet, but year one season pass owners will get it as part of their pass.
