This is Mansory's 838bhp turbo Huracan
It’s part of a ‘refining programme’ (their words, not ours) for the new baby Lamborghini by Swiss tuning firm Mansory, who surely require no introduction. This Huracan is set for a Geneva Motor Show world premiere, and we imagine you may wish to take in some of the details to prepare yourself.
Details like the new front and rear bumpers. The new side skirts, the daytime running lights and carbon fibre wing mirrors. Then there’s the new fixed rear wing, apparently designed in an ‘Aventador profile’ to provide more rear downforce.
You’ll likely need it. Mansory’s Huracan is lighter than the donor car, and has been treated to a high performance exhaust system, a new fuel pressure control, a new intake manifold, new fuel injectors, optimised ECU and gearbox settings, and, um, a giant, single turbo.
As such, the Huracan’s naturally aspirated 602bhp V10 becomes a very unnaturally aspirated 838bhp turbo V10, while torque rises from 413lb ft of torque to 575lb ft.
Such tweakery allows this lighter, harder and turbocharged Huracan to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 2.9 seconds - the same as its Aventador big brother - and reach a top speed of 205mph.
It’s shod in lightweight 20-inch alloys - with 21s at the back, yo - and some interior decoration including new leather, a new steering wheel, aluminium pedals, and carbon inserts.
There’s no word on prices for this Mansory Huracan, but we suspect if you’re interested in the idea of this turbocharged playboy, you’ll know who to contact. Like it? Or is Liberty Walk’s wide-bodied monster more your thing?
