Roush will make your Ford F-Series even more off-roady with a ‘Super Duty’ kit

Beefier brakes, uprated suspension and light exterior/interior modifications make up this $13k metamorphosis

Published: 25 Jan 2024

Hold your horses! American Aftermarket tuning brand, Roush Performance, has taken a short break from supercharging Ford Mustangs to focus on another of the Blue Oval’s products: the F-Series. Dubbed the ‘2024 Super Duty’, owners of the F-250/350 ‘Lariat’ models can take their turbo-diesel V8-powered pick-ups to Roush for a total revamp.

The process begins with a choice of 10 body colour resprays, including Glacier Grey and Darkened Bronze Metallic, before Roush integrates wider arches and accent lighting. Because the standard car has absolutely no presence to begin with, right?

It then bolts on a high-performance suspension kit to improve ride quality and off-road ability - since the standard versions fare so poorly here too - before adding a set of scary 35-inch all-terrain tyres. They’ll wrap snugly around new 20-inch satin black alloys, behind which you’ll find even meatier performance brakes.

Dual-tipped exhaust are also supplied to provide the 2024 Super Duty with an even snarlier vocal cord, before the changes are signed off with a raft of Roush vinyls across the windscreen, bonnet, and reworked front grille badge.

The cabin has also seen a moderate revamp, with embroidered headrests, new floor liners, and an optional Premium Leather Package available to swap the standard seats for Coffee Brown leather ones. OK, but what if we want ours themed in Fanta Strawberry, Roush?

Final touches include a locking centre console to safely stow away your most precious Hot Wheels toys and an off-road utility kit, complete with jumper cables and ratchet straps among a selection of other amenities.

Interested? That’ll be $13,400, thank you very much. Oh, you also can’t have one in the UK, since Ford currently doesn’t sell the F-Series on these shores. We’re envious, America…
