Driver survives massive BTCC crash
Even by BTCC standards, the crash you are about to watch is pretty wild.
Over the weekend, the British Touring Car Championship travelled to Silverstone. During the second race of the weekend, a three-car tangle sent Rob Collard and his Ebay Motors BMW flying.
Gordon Shedden was said to have hit the back of Jack Clarke, who went sideways and tagged Collard. Collard then barrel-rolled into the grass at high speed before coming to a stop.
He was later airlifted to hospital for precautionary checks, with BTCC organisers announcing that he was "extremely shaken and a bit winded". Thankfully - and most importantly though - he hasn't suffered any serious injury.
