A star that needs little introduction. Tim Burton's 1989 gothic masterpiece pit Michael Keaton's Batman against Jack Nicholson's Joker in a showdown for the ages. And Batman's ride was this cobbled together monster: two Chevy Impala chassis welded together underneath, and a grappling hook for tight bends. Look, it worked in the movie, OK?
DeLorean DMC-12 - Back to the Future (1985)
1.21 gigawatts. That is all we need to say about one of the car world's biggest ever movie stars.

A car that cemented Aston Martin's relationship with the world's least-secret secret agent - indeed, one that continues to this day - is also really rather gorgeous. In the film, it had many gadgets for specific purposes each, weirdly, applicable to Bond's predicaments in the 1964 classic. How fortuitous.
Lamborghini Miura - The Italian Job (1969)
We could have gone for the Mini Cooper, because they were the real heroes in the film. But those who hadn't buried their heads in popcorn for the opening minutes will instead remember the majestic Lamborghini arching through the Italian hills to a glorious soundtrack. This is how every movie ever should open. The less said about the poor Miura's fate three minutes after however, the better.
Ford Falcon XB Coupe - Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
Mad Max: Fury Road isn't so much a movie as it is a two-hour car crash. Things explode. Things crash into each other. Max barely says a word. It is, in short, fabulous. And one of the stars is - aside from that indestructible Merc - this Falcon XB 'Inteceptor'.
So, what are your faves?
