Skyline nerds, assemble: someone is selling a mad collection of rare R34 GT-Rs

Now’s your chance to bag the full set

Published: 20 Apr 2026

What’s better than one R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R? If you said a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, get outta here – you’ve been watching 2 Fast 2 Furious wrong. Anyway, the actual answer is five R34 Skyline GT-Rs, as evidenced by the stunning UK-based collection you see above.

But wait, it gets even better, because all five of these low-mileage R34s will cross the block at Broad Arrow’s Villa d'Este auction next month. Time to start looking for loose change down the back of the sofa.

So, what’s actually on offer? Well, we’ll start with the oldest of the lot – the colour-shifting Midnight Purple II edition from 1999. This one also has the highest mileage with just under 27,000 on the clock, but it also has a NISMO limited-slip diff and we’re promised “spectacular performance” thanks to tuning by Hosaka Tuning Factory in Japan. We're talking a modded 2.8-litre engine, forged pistons and a GReddy T88-33D turbocharger. Back in May 2023, a dyno test confirmed it was producing 690bhp.

The two 2001 cars in the collection are the Bayside Blue V-Spec II and the Silica Brass M-Spec. Stop us if this is getting too nerdy, although we highly doubt it will be. Anyway, the former has just 6,700 miles on its clock and is one of only 14 cars ever fitted with NISMO’s S-Tune (that’s S for street), so you’re looking at around 400bhp, a carbon rear wing and a usable, road-biased suspension setup. The latter honoured the GT-R’s chief engineer Kazutoshi Mizuno (hence M-Spec) and built on the V-Spec II trim with a full leather interior, heated seats and softer suspension.

Of course, 2002 was the final year of R34 GT-R production, and to celebrate Nissan launched the V-Spec II Nür with a modified RB26 engine, bigger turbos, stiffer suspension and a gold-painted engine cover. This one here is finished in the Nür-exclusive Millennium Jade paint, comes with plenty of pre-import history thanks to 20 years with just one owner in Japan, and has just over 18,000 miles on its clock.

And so, last but certainly not least is the 2002 Clubman Race Spec by NISMO. This is a properly rare R34, because while it started life as an M-Spec car, it has since been restomodded by NISMO itself at its Omori Factory. The CRS programme kicked off way back in 2013, but even so we’re told that this is one of just six cars to have since been fitted with the enlarged 2.8-litre F Sport R engine, which means proper Z-Tune vibes and around 500bhp. It's also wearing forged RAYS alloys and an R-Tune carbon bonnet. The transformation to Clubman Race Spec is notoriously slow and costly, and this particular car has covered less than 200 miles since the work was carried out in 2022.

So, how much do you reckon each car will fetch? And does anyone in the world have enough spare cash to keep this supremely clean collection together?
