The McLaren W1 is here, but it’s got some big boots to fill. Not only does it follow in the footsteps of something called the F1, but here at TG we also rather liked the 903bhp P1 too.

So, why not take a moment to scroll through that gallery above for all of our greatest P1 pics. There’s a few snaps from our Holy Trinity test, the time we put the slightly more powerful P1 GTR up against a Bell Cobra TAH-1F helicopter gunship at the Red Bull Ring, and of course a shot of a three-year-old P1 OOV up on a ramp as we took it for its very first MOT test.
